Who you are: 

Sumup is hiring a high energy, rockstar B2B Sales Manager to develop and manage a Sales Team of Outside Account Executives.  This Sales Management position is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and leading a team of new and established Account Executives AND for overseeing the daily sales and operations of a regional territory.  If you are a fast-paced leader, who has never-ending energy and optimism, thrives in directing and motivating a team to successful results, and is eager to help scale and move company initiatives forward in a rapidly changing environment…..then THIS opportunity is right for you and YOU are right for Sumup!  

We are looking for a Coaching Leader who

  • has experience managing or being managed in a sales methodology, sales process, and / or deal management structure

In this role you will

  • launch, onboard and scale the South Central regional market

  • own and drive new market share revenue by leading your team to acquire new SMB relationships through both cold call prospecting and local inbound lead generation

  • execute and implement our Sumup University sales process, script, and playbook within your team by riding in the field with reps, observing sales meetings, QA, skill development, and role play

  • oversee individual sales activity, pipelines, and forecasted team opportunities; as a data-driven organization, you will be required to use a variety of measurable and scalable sales tools including SFDC mapping tools, communication intel (Gong), CRM dashboards and reports, scorecards, and surveys to gauge the effectiveness, productivity, and results within your team

  • work with your team to develop and maintain strategic sales funnels through local territory prospecting / planning, in-person and remote meetings, and networking 

  • manage individual rep sales behaviors and ‘revenue-generating’ activity to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets 

  • build trust and rapport with direct reports by coaching and enhancing rep selling skills, strategies, and sales confidence through demonstration both in the field and remotely; as well, provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement and uncover strategies to level-up performances and results

  • maintain and grow territory headcount by attracting, recruiting, selecting, and training successful sales talent 

  • work closely with executive management, sales training, recruiting, marketing, and product teams on strategies / tasks that scale regional market share growth, help move larger sales opportunities and company initiatives forward, and drive overall business success

Requirements:

  • 5+ years B2B experience

  • 3+ years of team management experience within a structured, quota-carrying sales environment demonstrating achievement performance 

  • Experience in successfully mentoring and leading others effectively

  • Experience using CRM tools to manage lead funnel and forecast

  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns

  • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and powerpoint forms

  • High level of integrity, work ethic, and customer service

  • Experience managing people and coaching to excellence in local B2B markets

Compensation: 

The OTE for this role is $169,000 - $184,000 based on experience with uncapped bonus potential.
