In this context, we are looking for a Head of SumUp University who will be helping us create a learning organization by designing and implementing learning concepts and programs globally for SumUp. This person will be reporting to our Chief People Officer and have a team of three learning and development specialists.
SumUp is an office-first company and the Head of University will be based in our beautiful Berlin office which is also our main hub in Europe.
What you’ll do
Design and execute a learning curriculum and training sessions that are aligned with our organisational objectives and values
Actively participate in the development of multi-faceted learning methodologies, including onsite workshops, e-learning, on-the-job and social learning programs
Keep the SumUppers motivated and engaged to participate in learning initiatives
Recruit potential trainers from within SumUp and enable them to become better trainers
Identify the right third parties to partner with in executing the learning programs
Assess the impact of learning initiatives through clear metrics and feedback mechanisms and improve the programs continuously
Refine and implement the program for SumUp Leads aims at nurturing leadership skills and behaviours across different levels of the organisation
You’ll be great for this position if
You have strong experience in instructional design and developing learning programs.
You’re an excellent writer, presenter and communicator.
You have strong project management experience and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.
You’re data-driven and able to assess the effectiveness of programs based on metrics.
You’re experienced in building learning organizations and developing content.
You're a people leader, developing your team members, and collaborating effectively with various indirect teams.
Ideally, you have experience working in complex and decentralized international organizations.
