The mission of SumUp’s Lending Tribe is to provide our small merchants, who are often turned away by traditional financial institutions, with access to capital to grow their businesses. We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Operations Assistant to join our dynamic Lending Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you’ll do
Manage weekly payout processes in multiple markets
Support projects and objectives related to daily operations
Handle payments from external parties and cash reconciliation
Generate the necessary documents for the debt collection agencies
Provide assistance to Servicing and Collections agents
Generate weekly and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders
Manage ad hoc administrative tasks for Operations
You’ll be great for this position if you
Have at least 1+ year of work experience in a similar role
Are proficient in both written and spoken English
Have exceptional time management skills
Are proactive and able to work independently
Have meticulous attention to detail
Have high level of proficiency using MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
It would be nice if you
Speak Portuguese or any additional European language
Have proven stakeholder management skills
Have a strong track record of process improvement
Have proficiency in data analysis and reporting
